In a special guest appearance at Theatre Jacksonville, acclaimed television, stage and film actress Linda Purl (Matlock, The Office, Homeland) stars in this dramatic adaptation of The Year of Magical Thinking, the award-winning, bestselling memoir written by Joan Didion. Didion transforms the story of the sudden and unexpected loss of her husband and their only daughter into a stunning and powerful one-woman play that the New York Times called "moving, elegiac…poetic in its bluntness, its unavoidable truth"
"A stunning and complex performance ... Ms. Purl is a tower of strength."
